Latest Geronimo Stilton books

Are there any Geronimo Stilton fans out there ?

You know we are ! We still love this silly scaredy mouse and his family. We have almost every one of his adventures and the girls still love to read them. Some of his latest adventures have been more on the sillier site than educational, but you know that’s okay sometimes too. I am happy to hear my girls giggle and laugh about the stories. They are reading, having fun, and their creativity and imagination grows. I was excited to see so many new releases and added many to our list right away !

This just came out today !!

I, Geronimo Stilton, was so excited to travel on my third journey through time! Professor Paws von Volt had invented a portal to take my family and me to the past.

On this trip, we visited the Ice Age, ancient Greece, and the Renaissance. I encountered wooly mammoths and enormouse bears, wrote and starred in a play, and even helped put a bad guy in prison! But then the portal started malfunctioning — could we get back to the present day, or would we get lost in time? It was an amazing adventure!

This one released just right after Christmas !

My family and I, Geronimo Stilton, were invited to Lisbon, Portugal, to retrace the journey of the great explorer Vasco da Gama. He was the first European to reach India by sea — and was apparently an ancestor of the Stiltons! But once we got on the boat, I learned that someone was trying to sabotage the voyage. Could I figure out who?

Released today 😀

While at the beach, Geronimo Stiltonix stumbles upon a mysterious treasure map! The spacemice follow it and end up on Aquarix, a planet that’s entirely underwater. During their exploration, they face fur-eating seaweed, ferocious piranha aliens, and . . . pirate spacecats! Squeak! Can the spacemice keep the spacecats from stealing the treasure?

All these titles have been announced to be released in the next few months, time to save them to your lists or just go ahead and pre-order some

It’s the start of an exciting cavemice contest: a race to Boulder Bay and back! It’s a dangerous route, but it will supply the village cheese maker with rare hot lava peppers, and there’s a big cash prize. Trap teams up with Geronimo — who has a lazy, slow, city autosaurus (the cavemice mode of transportation). Can they reach the finish line without going extinct on the way?

Fairies, dragons, wizards, and more await Geronimo in this magical adventure!

I, Geronimo Stilton, was amazed to find myself called back to the Kingdom of Fantasy for another adventure. Blossom, Queen of the Fairies, needed my help ― time itself was under threat! Something evil was making the hands of the magical Tick Tock Timepiece spin faster and faster. It was causing Blossom to age at an alarming rate . . . and if she perished, so would the entire Kingdom of Fantasy! Holey cheese! It was up to me to restore time and harmony to the land. Could I do it before the clock reached its final hour?

No further info yet, it looks fun though 😀

There was a mystery in New Mouse City’s Egyptian Mouseum! The Black Papyrus, an ancient document that reveals the secret of eternal youth, had disappeared. The mouseum’s director asked me to help him find it. Yikes — those Egyptian artifacts freak me out! Luckily, a secret agent came to our aid… but could we trust him? It was up to us to recover the precious scroll!

BONUS! After the story, read an extra Mini Mystery adventure and jokes galore!

The Temple of the Ruby of Fire

The Temple of the Ruby of Fire (Geronimo Stilton, No. 14)

Hello again, this is Lucy and her assistant Lilly writing again. We have been reading lots of new books again and are super excited about telling you about one specific one we both just finished.

The Temple of the Ruby of fire !

On this adventure Geronimo travels to the Amazon Rain forest with his family along with Professor van Volt, to scoop up some News for the Rodents Gazette. They have an amazing journey, and travel on the Amazon river with a solar powered submarine. We learn lots of facts about Ecology, natural resources and also lots about the Ancient Inca  and the rainforest  itself.

We meet mean rodents, named Nastytail, Bones and Mike Miceson. They are trying to cut down the Amazon rainforest to make a city and drive the Inca people out of their homes and also steal their sacred Ruby. Geronimo and his friends are there to help. After  becoming friends with the nice rodents from the Inca village, the villagers tell Geronimo the secret to the Ruby of fire.

Lucy : One of my favorite parts was towards the end of the story, when Geronimo had a terrible headache and Warmfur, a girl from the village, gave him a special plant that cured his headache. It made me curious to learn more about natural remedies, which also reminded me of my studies we did during Little house in the big woods.

Lilly : My favorite part was the experiment at the end. I asked my mum if we could try to grow and avocado from a seed, just like the present Benjamin brought for Geronimo. And lucky me, we still had an Avocado at home in the fridge. Here is a picture of my sister holding our avocado seed, it is a very big seed !!

We both had fun reading this book, and we hope you like it too !

Until the next report !

Lucy and Lilly !!!

The Mona Mousa Code

Hi everybody. This is Lucy, the reporter and her assistant Lilly. We are here to talk about The Mona Mousa Code (Geronimo Stilton, No. 15) written by our good friend Geronimo Stilton.

We have both read this book, and many others by him, but this one was one of our firsts and favorites. When I, Lucy, started reading it, I got to so excited and fascinated that I wished to be in the story myself.

The Mona Mousa code introduces us to famous artists and their paintings from all over the world, especially Mousardo da Munchie ( aka Leonardo da Vinci )  and it got me more interested in his works and his art.

The adventure takes us all the way through new mouse city and Geronimo and his family Thea, Benjamin and Trap try to solve the mystery of the hidden painting under the Mona Mousa. They find a secret Labyrinth as they follow different clues and are followed by mysterious spies.

One of my favorite chapters was Tricks for Tails, because it was so funny. Geronimo visits a joke shop and gets tricked in funny ways by the owner Paws Prankster. Also funny was the part when Geronimo accidentally grabs Traps super spicy glass of chili punch, drinks it and nearly spits fire. My sister and I , really enjoy the pictures because they are so colorful and funny.

There were exciting parts when they made discoveries and found clues. It took us a while to figure out the code but it was fun trying.

This is a must have Geronimo book !!!!!

The Mona Mousa Code (Geronimo Stilton, No. 15)

Let me introduce you to…

It feels like the Geronimo Stilton fever is still going very strong, after almost a year of reading different types of his books. If you do not know Geronimo yet, you must introduce him to your kids.. I had walked past the books several times at the library. They always looked so silly, fun for sure, educational not really. But then I picked one up, thinking , well the kids might like some little fun adventures about a mouse. And how right I was, when I found out that they also had a great level of educational value I was even more thrilled and so were they. Each book covers a certain topic, and I have been surprised about the knowledge they have gained through the books. It introduces history, events, and common knowledge, interesting and famous people along with many, many other things….So far there is the normal Geronimo adventure series like , Field Trip to Niagara Falls (Geronimo Stilton, No. 24)
which taught a great deal about the native American  Indians which worked perfectly with our Moving beyond the page Unit. The Cavemice adventures , space adventures, Journey through time Geronimo Stilton Special Edition: The Journey Through Time  and The Kingdom of Fantasy and the Thea sisters like, Thea Stilton #20: Thea Stilton and the Missing Myth: A Geronimo Stilton Adventure

My oldest read the first books we got our hands on, and the little one wasn’t far behind her. In fact, one of the Geronimo books was her first one to finish completely on her own, at the age of 5. She really loves the Cavemouse series, she is very into dinosaurs and such. Geronimo Stilton Cavemice #1: The Stone of Fire

So our collection is growing every month, the library is nearly out of them every time or we have read all of the ones they offer, the used book stores are pretty short on hand as well. But luckily they aren’t so pricy and a few weeks allowance can get you another book pretty fast 😉

Geronimo also offers a pretty fun website which the girls visit pretty often. They have their computer with allowed links upstairs and are free to use it to their needs.  There are some fun games, news, reports, videos and more… One day, they girls told me about some news from the website. Workbooks from Geronimo. I was quite surprised when they actually showed them to me and added them immediately on my wish list. They weren’t out then yet, but well guess what… they are now 🙂 Geronimo Stilton Academy: Comprehension Pawbook Level 1

So far there are three different Pawbooks out 😉 I have ordered only the first one so far, but at a price around $5 I am sure I will order the other two very soon. My girls were pretty excited when they saw them and a little disappointed I had only gotten one. My plan was they could do them together ( the first one would be very easy for my 8 year old) but perfect for Kindergarten/ 1st grade level. If I understand the series right, they get more challenging. So I am eager to see Book 2 and 3.

The fun thing about the books is, that they cover 4 different book. Book 1 has excerpts from  Book # 57 The stinky cheese vacation, #46 The haunted castle, # 43 I’m not a supermouse and #42 The Peculiar pumpkin thief… funny enough, the only one they had read is the first one. So yes, they are pretty excited to read some of the excerpts from the other three mentioned.

Here is the link again… I sure hope they will offer more from Geronimo soon, and I hope you will enjoy his books and other works as much as we do 🙂
